who I am

Alex Stansbury is a trading name of Project Will Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16839327. Registered office: 4 Alexander Drive, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, S81 7NP. I'm not a solicitor and this is not a law firm. Will writing is not regulated in England and Wales. Covered by professional indemnity insurance.

what's included

The fixed prices on the prices page include a home visit anywhere within an hour of Worksop, drafting, explaining your documents and supervising signing. I'll confirm the price in writing before I start. If something needs more work than expected, I'll tell you and agree it with you first.

paying

Payment is due when I deliver your draft documents. For complex cases, I'll ask for 50% when I start work and the balance when the drafts are delivered — I'll tell you before I begin if that applies. [CONFIRM payment methods.]

cancelling

If you agree to the service at your home, you have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you ask me to start work within those 14 days and then cancel, you may be charged for work already done. [CONFIRM cancellation wording.]

your responsibilities

Give me accurate, complete information, read your documents before signing, and follow the signing instructions. Review your will after big life changes — marriage cancels an existing will.
